...Fluff, yer a real artist, you know that? I mean, sure, I tease and mock you at times...most of the time...but you have a genuine talent. Very nice work.
...I'm thinking of breaking yer hands, by the way...

(but are those AC parts I see?!?!?)
Thank you everybody for your comments! I was a bit distracted yesterday so I couldn't respond in depth. I do have a diabolical plan for these bots. I'm in the beginning stages of building a web site to showcase and sell these monsters. I'm not planning on aggressively marketing these things. I hate selling things in general. I'm not a salesman. People around me are constantly telling me to hit the art fair circuit and the sort. I'm not hip to that lifestyle. With a web site I can just upload whatever and whenever I want and not have to worry about minding the store too much. Plus, I do have a full time video editing job that takes up a lot of my time.
Pricing these sculptures has been another bain of mine. Again, people around me are constantly telling me I price them too low. I'm not a good judge for that. I live in a blue collar town with a blue collar mentality. Not many people around spend good money for art...let alone specialized art. Recently I came across a pretty slick web site of an artist who does similar work as mine. Needless to say, this pushed the idea of a web site to me.
Bennett Robot Works
Yup, I was quite inspired. Check out his price list!
Again, thanks for looking. I know I still owe a few people things and I promise I will get to them...eventually.

Not fer nuthin' Andy, but that guy's bots suck compared to yours. All he does is take one large central piece and slap on a flashlight here and a tv antenna there. You put some thought into your work. When you look at one of your creations, you have to try to figure out what was used!
Can't wait for the web site.
Thanks Nom, but I wouldn't say his work sucks. It's more like folk art in it's simplicity. I like it. But those prices!
Thanks DA. It would be an honor for you to break my hands. NO WAIT!

Andy, The Bennett stuff is nicely done. I think the two of you have different styles but he's got nothing on you from a creative perspective (the electro bugs alone make you a standout). And don't scoff at those prices. Original art is fucking expensive - no matter who creates it. So don't undercut yourself. Of course, feel free to offer discounts to friends (and board members). But don't hesitate to rape the general public. It's the American way!
As always, simply spectacular!
I hate spiders, so you know your stuff is good when I think even your spiderbots are cool!!
Of course, as good as this batch is, there is still no one who compares to the mighty Jalapeno!
OK, maybe SUCKS is too strong a word....how about BLOWS...no, still too strong....BITES!...ah, forget it. His stuff just ain't as cool!Originally posted by Andyman:
